Since I have only dived with normal recreational diving equipment so far, I am looking for someone who will teach me how to dive with this special equipment.

I am not interested in another certification, so I don't care if my trainer is also a certified diving instructor. I am also happy to be trained by an ambitious beginner or someone who wants to practice for his diving instructor training or needs a lot of entries in his logbook quickly.

I don't care about the age, number of TG and level of training of my coach. I have made the experience that it matters less. It would be more important that my coach enjoys greater depth and the ambition to teach someone to get there. This dive center is an absolute beauty! When you enter it, it really has that wow factor! The place is huge and has endless possibilities.

The dive center, located in the lively town of Los Llanos de Aridane, is a thriving dive center where divers of varying levels enjoy nature above and below water all year round. Many visitors also come for snorkeling, take a taster dive or complete a diving course.

The dive sites are easily accessible and since the volcanic eruption in 2021 , new dive sites have emerged that can still be discovered. Almost all dive sites are accessible from the shore, with an easy entry and thus suitable for young and old, experienced and inexperienced divers. There are also a number of dive sites with slightly more difficult entry, which is a challenge for experienced divers.

And boat dives are offered, for diving at the new lava delta and on the - inaccessible from land - steep northwest coast with many small caves and tunnels.

In Snoghøj, we have developed a diving course in collaboration with marine biologist and Little Belt specialist Søren Larsen, Lillebælt Nature Park and the most experienced and experienced divers from the region. Together we know Lillebælt like no other!

You will have lessons in the underwater landscape of the Little Belt with its rich flora and fauna. And as something completely new, part of the course will consist of expeditions where we remove ghost nets from the seabed and thus improve our environment.

The course is for everyone. Both persons with and without a diving license as well as experienced divers.

If you haven't dived before, it's important to take a diving course. In Snoghøj you will get a top education in diving. We focus on you and that you understand theory and practice 100%. We will practice in safe surroundings and local pool.

If you already have an OWD PADI dive certificate, you have the opportunity to become an AOWD (Advanced Open Water Diver).

HELP THE ENVIRONMENT

If you have a certificate and do not plan to move forward, we will go on daily excursions in Lillebælt that match your certificate. Some of the expeditions consist of removing ghost nets in which we work with the Belts Fisheries Association and locating and building the nets in a safe and solid way.

We dive in and look at the underwater wave first-hand together with marine biologist Søren Larsen and other local divers. Not only will we be physically in the water, but we will also give lectures to clarify what is going on in Lillebælt and how the water has evolved over thousands of years.

Practical information:

The school has single and double rooms, wireless Internet access, its own park and a beach with a wooden walk-in for swimming, a sauna and the possibility of a special diet. This includes vegetarian, vegan or other dietary preferences or requirements. In each room there is a sink and in the corridors there are showers. The bus goes directly to the door. The view from the dining room goes directly to the beautiful Little Belt (Baltic Sea).
