Im Zeitraum 12. - 24.10.2008 biete ich wie auch im Oktober 2007 in der Region Marsa Alam auf zwei verschiedenen Tauchbasen jeweils zweimal ein zweitägiges Seminar "Riffökologie" an, welches von oben genannten Verbänden als Sonderbrevet zertifiziert wird.

Das Seminar wird am jeweiligen Hausriff durchgeführt. Es beinhaltet 4 Tauchgänge, die jeweils mit einem riffbiologischen Thema belegt sind, sowie Arbeit im Kursraum der Basis u. a. mit Präsentationen/Erklärungen und praktischer Anschauung mittels Stereolupen, und ein ausführliches Skript mit vielen allgemeinen und weiterführenden Erläuterungen.

Seminarkosten: 50,- Euro (zuzüglich Tauchgangpreise). Bei CMAS-SK-Brevetierung ist die Bestätigung im Preis incl., bei PADI-Aware-Brevetierung berechnet die jeweilige Basis zusätzlich die Brevetkosten.

The marine biology course Oceanology will take place on 17.02.2008 from about 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the premises of one of the most beautiful German aquariums - the aquazoo Düsseldorf. The head of the course is Jörg Allenstein, who has been working as a zoo educator at the Aquazoo for many years.
The aim is to provide insight and understanding of the interrelationships of this fascinating underwater world and to enable more conscious diving.


In individual multimedia presentations, the topics

• The sea as a habitat
• The systematics of living beings and ecology

.

It also answers questions such as:
• How and why is a fish male or not?
• Why do crabs and gobies live together?
• Which animals are poisonous and how to treat them
Injuries?
• What is bionics?

A large pool of teaching material, observations at the pools and tours in front of and behind the scenes round off this day.

Each participant will receive a folder with teaching material and a sticker in the dive passport/logbook as proof of success.

Requirements: 14 years; CMAS* or equivalent; at least 20 dives

Within the period 20.03. - 03.04.2008 a crossover seminar of the VEST (member of the CMAS-G, in a few months also of the RSTC) will take place in Dahab/Sinai for instructors of all associations up to the status TL**.

Crossover duration: 3 - 4 days

Crossover costs and TL status of the participant on request, as individually different depending on pre-qualification and experience.

The crossover participants are also welcome to travel together with their own diving students and train them there at very good on-site conditions.

The number of participants is limited, so please report soon. All questions will be answered immediately by email.

If you are interested, an additional offer for the certification of CMAS Instructor Assistants/VDST-ÜL to CMAS Instructor TL* can also be realized.

We will show you how to correctly apply the various orientation options (compass, natural conditions, etc.) under water - in order to find your way back to the starting point or to reach the desired destination again and again.

This special course is a prerequisite for the CMAS** or Master Diver.

There is also the possibility of overnight stay, if places are available.

The theory is made in advance. This weekend, the focus is on diving and fun.
