The POLARIS Ice Proof warms particularly well where it is needed most and relies on flexible insulation materials in other places to ensure a perfect fit in combination with low buoyancy.
An additional insulation layer in the hip area also protects the bladder from the effects of cold.
For insulation, we use the innovative Thinsulate Ultra from 3M. At half the material thickness, this insulates at least as well as conventional, thicker thinsulates.
