SILVERFISH is an exceptionally flexible underwater housing for camcorders with LANC control.

It can accommodate many different types of camcorders. As long as your own camcorder has a LANC socket that does not exceed a length of 220 millimeters and a diameter of 115 millimeters. And this applies to many commercially available camcorders. The housing and all external metal parts are made of special steel (stainless steel 1.4571), which is seawater-resistant due to its high chromium and nickel content. The fact that the design was based not only on visual but also on ergonomic requirements is noticeable at the latest as soon as you put the SF into operation. The camcorder is simply attached to the perforated rail located on the control module with a tripod screw, which is also suitable for attaching trim weights. The camcorder and the control module form a single unit, so that when the housing is opened, the entire contents (camcorders, connectors) can be pulled out without any disassembly and are then freely accessible.

With the sturdy double handle, the case is easy to maneuver underwater. Easy to use, even with gloves, are the magnetic button elements on both sides of the back of the case, which communicate with the camcorder inside via a standardized LANC interface. This is a prerequisite: the camcorder must have a LANC interface.

The SF is designed for unrestricted underwater video fun for demanding amateurs. However, the design, features and performance data also make the device interesting for professional use. The housing tube and the twelve-millimeter-thick, thermally hardened and color-neutral front glass are dimensioned in such a way that the use of a wide-angle converter mounted on the camcorder lens is possible. A built-in 2.5-inch TFT LCD monitor (480 W x 234 H) works on the back of the case.

The built-in underwater microphone is described as balanced and powerful. Mounting options for underwater lights are provided by the carrier rail of the two grab handles.

At the lowest point of the housing, in normal use, a leak sensor is attached, which warns via a yellow LED in the event of even the slightest water ingress.

I sell 2 x AQUATICA Delta 3 Strobe Arm Kit with a total of 4 x 11" (27.94 cm) Double Ball Arms and 7 clamps. These are used to connect underwater lightning to an underwater housing.

I would like to have 350EUR for it, price is negotiable.

Since the spring of an original AQUATICA clamp is a bit bent (unfortunately from the beginning), I got a replacement clamp. I think the clamp could be repaired quite quickly with a little manual skill.

The arms and clamps are in very good condition (except for the mentioned clamp) and have been used little.

It is an animal-free and non-smoking household.

The flash arms and clamps can be picked up or shipped.
