Features and construction

The Atomic Aquatics Blade Fin uses advanced structural techniques that are also used in aircraft construction and Indy race cars to ensure solid performance.

Power-Loop Monocoque Structure: This construction uses the outer skin to support the load and directs the power through the frame rails.

Foot Pocket Power Plate: The monocoque structure is bonded to the sole plate, which gives the diver a feeling as if the fin is firmly screwed to the foot, maximizing kick force.

Power Rail and Vertical Stabilizers: The side frame rails (Power Rails) resemble a backbone and guide water efficiently. Large stabilizers on the fin tips ensure that the fin is guided straight in the water with every stroke.

Materials: The fins are made of a durable blend of rubber and plastic materials.

EZ-LOK buckle system: The patented buckle system allows the fin to be put on and taken off easily and securely. The buckles rotate 180 degrees and the straps are easy to adjust.
