Hello everyone, I am looking for a well-preserved trilaminate drysuit in a real short size for heavier divers (3XL-Short / 3XLS / XXLS). Since I have relatively short legs with a stronger build, I am specifically looking for models that are shortened in the leg and torso area ex works to avoid material jam at the knees (and the dreaded head position). My search criteria:
  • Preferred brands: BARE (3XL shorts / 4XL shorts), SANTI (XXLS), WATERPROOF (plus short leg sizes)
  • Material: Trilaminate / membrane only (no thick neoprene)
  • Condition: Very well maintained, best under 50 dives, absolutely tight.
  • Extras (not a must, but awesome): Gladly already with the KUBIglove system mounted or conversion to neoprene socks.
My budget:
Depending on the model, age, condition and accessories (e.g. existing KUBI or undergarment), my idea is around 700 EUR to a maximum of 1,100 EUR. The calories have struck. I wore the suit 1 time when I bought it and yesterday on the 2nd attempt I noticed that it has somehow shrunk. The suit hung in the closet for about 2 years and was never dipped so it is NEW.

A great suit has another one (2XL), which I have been actively using as a TL for 5 years.

Dates: Manufacturer Waterproof, size XL, 7mm, semi-dry with cuffs on the feet, hands, neck and a gas-tight back zipper. This is what makes this suit so special and I almost never need a dry suit, as almost no water penetrates. At the beginning of the dive, it makes sense to "bleed", i.e. briefly ventilate the neck cuff a little.

Has two fixed pockets that are variable in size by a zipper. The left one has another inside pocket (see photo) with an additional zipper. The knee pads are also put on and are extremely durable, at least with my 2nd suit (2XL), which has a good 400 dives behind it in diving school.
