SEEMANN SUB Das Jacket 4CONTROL beweist, dass der Verzicht auf den klassischen Inflator ohne teure zusätzliche Technik zum Standard werden kann. Die zwei Schnellablassventile genügen zur Tarierung in jeder Lage. Solide verarbeitet, kostengünstig und farblich ansprechend findet es Interessenten bei Anwendern, die ein einfach zu bedienendes Jacket schätzen, das nicht nur auf einem Foto gut wirkt. Der Verzicht auf den Inflator fällt auf den ersten Blick nicht auf, optisch wirkt das Jacket nun symmetrisch, homogener. Nimmt man es in die Hand spürt man ein wenig den Unterschied zu den sonst meist verwendeten Materialien, das 4CONTROL ist aus dem Kunststoff TESLAN 600 Dtex gefertigt. Ein Schnellablassventil ist auf der linken Schulter eingesetzt, dort, wo sonst der Inflator befestigt wäre. Ein weiterer Schnellablass dient der Entlüftung in Situationen wie dem Abtauchen über Kopf. Dieses ist in Hüfthöhe an der Rückseite des Jackets platziert, der Öffnungsmechanismus ist jedoch zur Jacketvorderseite geführt und erlaubt die Bedienung ohne nach hinten greifen zu müssen. Befüllt wird das Jacket mit Druck auf das Einlassventil, das ebenso auf der linken Seite, oberhalb des Einschubs für das integrierte Blei, angeordnet ist. Natürlich ist das Einlassventil über einen Mitteldruckschlauch mit der ersten Stufe verbunden. Ein unauffälliges Novum, bedingt durch den Verzicht auf den Inflator - Faltenschlauch mit Mundstück. ist eine mit Klettband fixierte Blende im Brustbereich des rechten Schultergurts, hinter der ein transparenter Schlauch mit Rückschlagventil zur Luftbefüllung mit dem Mund vorbereitet ist. Dieser Schlauch hat kein Mundstück, man nimmt einfach dessen Ende, das durch das Rückschlagventil stabilisiert ist zwischen die Lippen und bläst kräftig hinein. Als ADV – Jacket bietet das 4CONTROL natürlich den Komfort die Schulterschnallen zu öffnen und individuell anzupassen. Das Jacket kann natürlich auch mit abwerfbaren Bleitaschen ausgestattet werden(2x6kg). Gesichert durch Kunststoffschnallen kann man in zwei Taschen auf der Rückseite des Jackets Trimmblei einbringen. Zwei mit Reißverschluss gesicherte Taschen am 4CONTROL nehmen Zubehör auf, eine größere an der rechten Seite, eine kleine über dem Bleieinschub auf der linken Seite.
