Here are the main technical specifications and design features of the TUSA Visualator (M-14) diving mask:
1. Optics and field of vision Single-lens design: The mask has a continuous, oversized front lens without an annoying center bar. Expanded field of vision: Provides up to 2.5 times larger field of vision compared to many traditional masks. Optimized interpupillary relief: The frame has been designed to be extremely thin and the sealing line has been shifted slightly outwards (to the middle of the forehead). 3. Fit and Ergonomics 5-Stage Buckle System (5 Angle Strap Adjustor): The mask buckles allow micro-adjustment of the mask strap at five different angles on both sides. This enables precise adjustment of the vertical and horizontal contact pressure. Hello dear diving community,
I've been toying with the idea of starting my own small, service-focused shop and workshop as a side business for some time now. The focus will clearly be on professional regulator servicing and cylinder logistics (as long waiting times at existing shops have bothered me immensely, two shops have closed due to the owners' retirement in the last 5 years, and the last remaining one is completely overloaded).
Since there's a wealth of experience here in the forum, I would be extremely grateful for some honest assessments and tips from you:
* Hurdles & stumbling blocks: What unexpected hurdles did you encounter (or are you aware of) when starting your own business in diving? What about liability and insurance (PPE)?
* Manufacturer recommendations: Which brands/manufacturers do you think are particularly beginner-friendly in terms of access to workshop training and spare parts? (I was thinking of brands like Mares , Scubapro or Apeks to start with).
* Requirements for training courses: Is it absolutely necessary to already have official dealer status to be admitted to the technician seminars, or is a business license sufficient?
* Best Practices: Do you have any tips on how a newcomer to a part-time diving business can gain the trust of local divers and clubs without having to build up a huge inventory?

Offer my drysuit here, as it is a bit too small for me :) it is made of trilaminate from the brand Scubapro , size S. Attached is a size chart, that may help, otherwise I will be happy to send measurements on request. I haven't dipped it for a long time, but it was tight, hanging dark and cool in the cupboard. The cuffs are made of latex and were regularly maintained by me with Vaseline and talcum powder. The zipper was maintained with paraffin wax about every second dive. In total, the drysuit did about 50 dives with me and I was always very satisfied. Just to put on a thick undersuit, I would need an M, not an S. It has two large pockets on the legs, one of which has a little Velcro loosening, but can be easily sewn back on. The socks are made of neoprene, I have shoe size 39/40 and they fit perfectly. The neck cuff would have to be replaced. Ring system is in both the neck and wrists. If you have any questions, feel free to write to me :)
