The SS1 is a really fresh innovation for a long-standing concept. While others focus on the simplicity of combination products, Atomic Aquatics attaches equal importance to better materials, reliability and powerful breathing.
SS1 Performance & Durability
The SS1 provides divers at great depths with a high level of breathing comfort with minimal effort. It is very stable and does not tend to blow off or leak unnecessarily while swimming or during entry/exit. The inflator is easy to operate by soft-surface buttons, which are easy to use with one hand. The SS1 is made of high-quality materials that cannot be found in any secondary regulator on the market. The coupling, regulator valve body and inflator are made of titanium to prevent corrosion that would otherwise damage components or limit performance and function. The valve and rocker arm are also made of titanium to ensure maximum strength and reliability.
SS1 Customization & Convenience
One of the unique features of the SS1 is its adaptability to almost any jacket. We have developed a range of adaptors that fit almost every brand of jacket available. These adaptors also include components for connecting the pleated hose of your current jacket. The SS1 includes not only a coupling for the MD hose, but also for the jacket pleated hose. The adapter that connects the SS1 to the Jacket is connected by a threaded ring that can be easily unscrewed to completely detach the SS1 from your Jacket, allowing you to store the SS1 along with your regulator and instruments. The SS1 offers pneumatic or oral inflation to control buoyancy and back-up breathing in a compact package.
