The W4 was awarded a TAUCHEN AWARD by the readers of THE magazine TAUCHEN as the best semi-dry suit.
The W4 is Waterproof's latest back zippered diving suit. After 30 years of experience in manufacturing wetsuits, we have brought all our knowledge and skill to this suit. The eye-catching silvery retro design has a futuristic look.
The anatomical 3D design of our suits with the pre-formed arms and legs with stitch inserts and the gender-specific construction ensure a high wearing comfort and a relaxed posture in the water. The 3D molded rubber knee pads are perfect for instructors who spend a lot of time in the water during training.
Double sealing sleeves on the arms and legs reduce water exchange to a minimum. The back zipper is consistently padded with a 10 mm neoprene spine pad and an extra seal and keeps the cold water away from the body. The cuffs are perfectly adapted to the gloves and booties of Waterproof.
All zippers are in first class YKK quality. The back zipper has a bronze slider that ensures trouble-free operation for many years.
Tough Tex panels with an indestructible lamination protect the elbow and knee area. Seams made of HiQ nylon and 100% CR neoprene in all panels.
The W4 has computer attachments with anti-slip coating on both sides. A comfort zipper on the neck and over a new inner lamination.
The WPAD™, Waterproof Accessory Dock gives the possibility to attach a pocket with Velcro to the suit. The bag is large enough for a replacement mask, writing board, decorative table or a GoPro camera. The bag can be enlarged or reduced in volume. When not in use, the bag can be removed very easily.
Vest:
Waterproof combines a 5 mm thick vest with the popular H1 5/7 mm hood with H.A.V.S ventilation system. Whether the zipper of your suit is front or back, the W vest covers it from the outside and provides very good insulation. The long front zipper allows you to slip comfortably into the vest. The 1/3 arms and legs cover and insulate most of the body surface. This vest fits all overalls without attached hood.
Boots:
- 6.5 mm neoprene
- Zipper underlaid, for minimal water exchange
- Sealed seams for a semi-dry effect
- Protected on the heels and toes by rubber caps
- Flexible tread sole
